Description The ideal candidate will support the continued development of our procurement operational capabilities within the Americas while developing strong relationships and partnership with the business to understand key business strategies and long-range plans. This role will serve as the key contact for Americas Procurement operations to the business to manage key business metrics and drive process improvements and support the implementation of Procurement tools and services. A deep understanding of Source-to-Pay operational processes, technologies, common business challenges, and the ability to translate them into solutions is critical. This role will work closely across Sourcing and Ops Engineering (SOE), as well as a wide variety of infrastructure stakeholders to establish priorities, acceptable timelines, and performance metrics. Primary interfaces will be the Facebook infrastructure teams, including Data Center, Network Engineering, Server Compute/Storage, Connectivity Labs, Project Management, Finance and Accounts Payable. This team reports to the Manager of Procurement Operations and Infrastructure Shared Services and is based at our headquarters in Menlo Park, CA.


  • Provide procurement process design for the Americas

  • Develop S2P process and documentation

  • Develop regional and country specific procurement operations playbooks

  • Partnering with and building relationships in region with SOE, Infra, and other organizations (Finance Operations, IT) to drive scalability and process efficiency in Procurement Operations

  • S2PO training and training material development

  • Proactively manage relationships and expectations relative to Proc Ops and drive improvements through the use of key metrics important to the business

  • Facilitate problem resolution and advocate for business with other organizations within the P2P lifecycle (e.g., Finance, Pro Unlimited)

  • Identify opportunities for improvement and participate in broader initiatives related to P2P in order to meet/exceed performance metrics

  • Provide thought leadership and perspective on P2P relative to region and industry best practices

  • Communicate and influence at various levels of the organization

  • Ability to travel as required


  • BA/BS in technical or business-related field

  • 5+ years experience in Strategic Sourcing and Procure-to-Pay

  • 5+ years experience managing stakeholder relationships and driving process improvement

  • Knowledge of the Americas S2P regulatory requirements and controls

  • Proven experience in taking ownership and driving performance against KPI targets

  • Proven experience improving and managing performance in operational environments

  • Interpersonal and communication experience

  • Analytical and problem-solving experience

  • Experience executing on multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Organizational and time management experience


  • Prior experience working in a shared service, BPO or equivalent environment

  • Initiative and ability to operate independently

  • Ability to focus under pressure

  • Resourceful, action-oriented with the ability to get things done and overcome obstacles
