Description The consumer shift to mobile has fundamentally changed how people discover, shop and buy products. As part of Global Business Marketing Team, the Mobile Growth Strategist is responsible for developing and delivering scaled marketing programs to drive awareness, engagement and adoption of Facebook’s messaging solutions—Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp. As a mobile thought leader, you’ll lead cross-functional Facebook teams (Sales, Vertical Marketing, Product Marketing, Engineering, and Design) in executing high-touch, client-facing mobile growth workshops, scaled education events, content marketing efforts (campaigns, PR, blogs, sales content). The primary verticals of focus are eCommerce, retail and travel.


  • Be a highly visible thought leader that inspires, educates and guides both internal and external teams through the execution of Messenger and WhatsApp growth initiatives.

  • Advise executive leadership teams from some of Facebook’s largest clients on Messenger and WhatsApp adoption strategies, including business opportunity, go-to-market, and measurement efforts.

  • Lead high-impact education workshops, deliver influential event keynote presentations, create compelling marketing campaigns, and source insightful case studies that inspire businesses to adopt Facebook messaging solutions.

  • Convert data into actionable insights and deliver tailored recommendations that guide clients through their messaging strategy development.

  • Partner with leading consulting firms and digital agencies that offer compelling complementary insights and services to provide comprehensive guidance to our clients.

  • Deliver messaging thought leadership training and marketing materials to Facebook’s sales organization.


  • 7+ years of experience in business development, business strategy or consulting within eCommerce, retail and/or travel verticals

  • Experience in communicating with senior executive teams in a strategic or advisory role

  • Experience simplifying technical concepts and ideas while bringing your audience along through storytelling

  • Experience uncovering and presenting consumer insights via data analysis


  • Bachelor’s degree

  • MBA

  • Knowledge of the digital advertising landscape and the role of B2C messaging in this ecosystem
