Job Description

  • Create, manage, and execute a community events strategy for pre-activation, community kick offs, weekly programing, and regional events.
  • Oversee regional community programming strategy, helping local teams and hospitality leads develop community programming, ensuring we are the ‘town hall’ and city center of each respective neighborhood and town we are in.
  • Create training & continuing education platforms to help scale functional event calendars to scale across the WeWork territories.
  • Oversees standards, calendars, and budgeting for all community events across each territory, continually seeking ways to improve our quality and expenditure across community events
  • Create meaningful local strategic partnerships with organizations & individuals that will drive revenue and brand relevance to our buildings
  • Work with the community team to establish “shared practices & programming” that will bind & build our membership community
  • Create, manage, and grow a database of local influencers who will become the base community members
  • Manage and execute promotional events at building, be present and coordinate events
  • Drives efficiencies and operational excellence with partner vendors, negotiating our terms with vendors at scale for efficiency across the region as well as RFPing and auditing/onboarding new vendors for our community teams’ use

Experience and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Practiced experience in scaling events or related field through training
  • Minimum 6 years Event Management Experience
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Google Applications, and a good base of general computer knowledge
