Description Oculus Medium is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help tell the story of how virtual reality can be used for art projects and content production workflows. They will work closely with the Medium team to inform product direction, and will maintain positive relationships with our external artist and developer contacts.
The Product Marketing Manager will be expected to develop, coordinate and manage a variety of product and brand content designed to engage both enterprise and individual users. The successful candidate must demonstrate proven skill and hands-on experience in managing our user-base and community with effective and unique marketing, events, and outreach strategies.
This role is based in San Francisco, and reports into the Product Manager of Medium.


  • Lead product marketing campaigns, from strategy to execution, working closely with key internal partners and stakeholders

  • Strategize development and curation of content for curricula and marketing materials

  • Collaborate with Creative Producer and external partners to produce rich campaign assets such as video, social media, blog and other digital and physical activations

  • Manage community, including community programming and outreach

  • Collaborate with Technical Producer to source and strategize product marketing events, coordinating with artists, developers, and other external partners

  • Interface with enterprise, small business, and studios to bring Medium into their production pipelines

  • Coordinating, representing and promoting Medium for press opportunities

  • Consult regularly with cross-functional teams across Oculus and Facebook

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 5-10 times per year


  • 5+ years of experience in a hardware or software production environment

  • 2+ years of experience creating product marketing campaigns

  • 2+ years of editorial experience

  • Adobe Photoshop experience

  • Experience and knowledge in video marketing mediums: social, web, experiential and broadcast

  • Experience creating and managing budgets
