Together, we can help people build stronger communities — we're just getting started. Facebook is seeking a Test Automation Engineer, Intern to join our Release to Production Engineering team.   • Enhance and maintain existing test automation frameworks based on specifications

  • Define, develop, implement and maintain test cases for various hardware products throughout the whole product lifecycle

  • Work with partner teams to utilize existing test frameworks and explore new use cases

  • Interface with internal and external teams to build necessary ports to connect with other tools

  • Analyze data from large scale fleet across different dimensions


  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

  • Experience with objected oriented design, programming, and analysis

  • Coding experience with Python, Ruby, C++, Java, and/or PHP

  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments

  • Communication skills

  • Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment

  • Must be currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to the program after the completion of the internship/co-op


  • Experience in hacking, prototyping

  • Related test automation experience
