Description Facebook is seeking an experienced leader to lead business development and strategic tech alliances across the family of Facebook products. As a global platform, it is our responsibility to establish meaningful relationships with key ecosystem stakeholders and manage C-suite relationships to deliver mutually beneficial products and services. You will grow and mentor a high-performing global team that works cross-functionally to build new ecosystem partnerships for Facebook.
This is a full-time role based in either Menlo Park or New York.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Hire, lead and mentor a team of partnership management professionals

  • Build alliances with strategic partners by defining joint roadmaps, managing multiple top to top touch points, and maintaining partner health

  • Represent Facebook in external meetings with seasoned executives, both internally and externally

  • Build strong working relationships with leaders across Facebook teams (e. g. sales, product, product marketing, engineering, business development, marketing, human resources sales planning/operations and finance)

  • Work in a highly cross-functional environment to build end-to-end programs that deploy our services through partners, from product conception to implementation to marketing and go-to-market

  • Evangelize partners internally and externally by delivering presentations at industry conferences and representing the business in front of internal teams, strategic partners and media

  • Drive the Facebook Marketing Partner strategy in region identifying, managing and scaling key ecosystems and ecosystem partnerships

  • Collaborate with partners and developers to ensure that the experiences we build together are the best possible for users, supports our partners' goals and support Facebook's mission

  • Provide management guidance on organizational effectiveness, change management and conflict resolution, as well as provide expertise in the following areas: career planning, performance management, coaching, data analysis, recognition programs, and strategic development

  • Execute in an intense, fast-paced, and highly iterative environment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 15+ years experience working in business development and strategic alliances

  • BA/BS degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in complex, first of their kinds deals with large and small companies

  • Proven track record of building and scaling teams

  • Experience in partner management, a track record of influencing change in organizations, and the ability to synthesize and execute against problems and timelines

  • Experience developing, negotiating and signing industry leading deals with market share leaders to deliver value to the ecosystem

  • Quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities coupled with knowledge of operating principles

  • Project management leadership experience, able to lead multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects across a global cross-functional team

  • Experience engaging with C-level of any partner organization

  • Global work and team management experience

  • Fluency in more than one language

  • MBA or MS Degree or equivalent experience
