Description The Media Operations team develops solutions for public figures and media publishers on Facebook and Instagram by creating scaled systems to address the issues impacting their experience with our product and support, analyzing how they interact with products and each other, and packaging these insights for the rest of the company.
We are seeking an individual to manage a team of systems project managers that focus on developing central infrastructure and scaled technical solutions for integrity support operations. They will collaborate with the Media Operations Integrity team and cross-functional stakeholders to predict potential threats and abuse in the media ecosystem, proactively reduce negative experiences for Media partners on the platform, and create a safe environment for Media partners to engage with their audience on Facebook.
Candidates should be passionate about partner experience, able to design large-scale operational tools and systems, coach the team effectively to develop technical roadmaps and drive complex infrastructure projects, and lead technical discussions with cross-functional teams across the company to provide creative solutions for nebulous problems and ensure safe and meaningful interactions between users and media constituents across Facebook's family of apps. This is a full-time position based in Menlo Park, California.


  • Become an expert in the support experience for public figures and media publishers across Facebook's family of apps

  • Understand integrity problems, policies, and risks with the ability to effectively translate them into scaled technical solutions that improve support and product experiences for partners

  • Help establish team goals and work with multiple stakeholders on strategies for executing, measuring progress and reporting results

  • Manage a global team of systems project managers/developers to execute against goals and develop their careers

  • Set the team up for success to work effectively with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders through the planning, design, development, testing, launch, and post-launch phases of new tools and systems

  • Lead technical roadmap and design discussions with the team and cross-functional stakeholders

  • Identify trends and key insights to drive impact against team goals around product development, user experience, and operational efficiency


  • BA/BS degree or higher

  • 8+ years of experience in online operations, technical project management, or product management

  • 2+ years of experience with SQL

  • Experience leading and developing teams

  • Experience developing technical roadmaps and shipping products/tools with engineers

  • Experience working cross-functionally across multiple time zones and functions

  • Experience in integrity-related industries or functions (e.g. fraud, security, safety, spam, risk)


  • 2+ years experience using a project management method (e.g. Scrum, Lean, Waterfall, etc.)

  • Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence

  • Experience with functional programing languages (e.g. Haskell) or statistical software (e.g. R)
