Description As a Sensor Systems Technical Program Manager at Facebook Reality Labs (FRL) in Redmond you will work with a world-class group of researchers, engineers and management developing the next generation of sensor and depth modules to drive our industry-leading augmented reality systems. Your main responsibilities will be to program manage the deliverables of the Sensors Team to meet the Oculus product roadmap requirements with high quality and on time delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with sensor team and researchers tracking the definition of next generation imagers, modules and 3D sensor architectures

  • Help define and drive internal processes for on time delivery of prototypes, engineering samples and production designs

  • Own engineering requirement documents timely delivery and internal signoff

  • Define development, delivery and qualifications schedule to match internal sampling requirements

  • Work with and drive internal teams and vendors on schedule management, deliverables, issue resolution and action items tracking

  • Organize/lead required face to face on site meeting with vendors

  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience managing sensor and depth module projects and deliveries

  • 5+ years of experience with hands-on engineering work

  • Experience managing vendors and/or contract manufacturers to deliver modules or sub-systems

  • Experience with sensor qualification, validation and characterization processes and deliverables

  • Organizational and planning experience

  • Experience performing and leading under crisis situations

  • Experience communicating in English

  • BSEE

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MSEE

  • Experience with IMUs, biometrics and other sensing technologies

  • Experience with silicon development methodology and flow
